“We love supporting Jerusalem Farm because it’s incredibly rewarding to follow Jesus’ call to walk with and empower the hardworking people of the Historic Northeast.”

Help Reinforce

JFarm for 2026:

Charity has the power to change reality; it is a genuine force for change in history. It is the source that must inspire and guide every effort to “resolve the structural causes of poverty,” and to do so with urgency.

Last summer, we sent out an online survey to our donors, homeowners, service retreat participants, day volunteers, local partners, neighbors, and friends.

The overwhelming response we received from you all has helped shaped a vision for how we can best carry out our mission over the next few years.

We welcome you to take a look at how we're ensuring that Jerusalem Farm is Reinforced For Good:

A Note from Our Board:

Moved by the Spirit of Love, a few others and I gathered in August of 2011 to imagine a new possibility for Kansas City. The idea was conceived, and—as coincidence would have it—nine months later Jerusalem Farm was born on May 1, 2012—not so coincidentally on the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker.

What was imagined then has become unimaginable. From a small seed of just a few people, many thousands have been affected by our mission, either as volunteers, homeowners, or as community members. It is even more humbling to know this Spirit of love has inspired hundreds in the KC area and throughout the country to invest in our people and this mission.

Through your commitment, we repair homes, enabling owners to remain. Now your support has empowered us to restore, and even build new housing, so families can have an affordable home to own and build equity. Unimaginable!

Recently, we surveyed all of our constituents, including donors, and we listened. From these responses, we have created a plan through which JFarm is “Reinforced for Good.”

You transform lives with every prayer, every visit, and every dollar. I am beyond grateful for your support. Friends, I humbly ask you to begin, or continue to give, as the Spirit moves you.

Our 2025 in Pictures:

Elemento 1 de 11
One structural issue that cannot realistically be resolved from above and needs to be addressed as quickly as possible has to do with the locations, neighborhoods, homes and cities where the poor live and spend their time. All of us appreciate the beauty of “those cities which overcome paralyzing mistrust, integrate those who are different and make this very integration a new factor of development! How attractive are those cities which, even in their architectural design, are full of spaces which connect, relate and favor the recognition of others!'
